RULES

Note: This website, owner, moderators, or any affiliates DO NOT CONDONE STREET RACING! With that said you are a free American, you can do this where ever you wish, but preferably at the track. We are in NO way liable for anything that may happen to the vehicle or the racer, you do this of your own free will.

1. The rules are subject to change or modification at any time. It is your responsibility to know them.

2. All races for this list are 1/4 mile. The preferred option of starting is from a dead stop, however if both racers agree you may do it from a roll of NO more than 15mph. If one racer does not agree to go from a roll and no resolution can be made, the win goes to the racer who was willing to go from a dead stop. Starting with a starter person or 3 honks or whatever, is up to the racers to decide. Once the method has been agreed to and the race has started, that's it, NO WHINING. You agreed to it, that's the way it is. If you feel wronged or cheated, challenge on the site and do it again.

3. Number of races- Racers decide if its 1 race for all the marbles, or a best 2 out of 3. You decide. (Note: If at the track, you can ask for both racers to be lined up in time trials and you most usually get 3 time trials.)

3. To get on the list you must be a member in order to challenge any one of the number 6-10 spots. Unless, there is an empty spot, then you automatically get the next available spot until the list is full. You must be on a list in order to challenge for the OVERALL.

4. You must already be on the list to challenge into/or any of the top 5 spots.

5. You must state your challenge on this website. The spot holder you are challenging has 48 hrs to accept the challenge on the website. If not accepted the spot goes to the challenger. If accepted, the race must occur within 2 weeks of acceptance.

6. In a challenge race at the track, the winner of the challenge will report the results of the race (save your time slips). If the challenge takes place elsewhere, there must be at least 2 unbiased witness'. The winner of that race will submit the results.

7. Location- The location of the race is determined by the spot holder. If the spot holder chooses a track, then that's where it happens, if the holder chooses a area in his/her town it must be within 10 miles of spot holders local. With that being said, our area is a vast place, you need to assume that you might have to drive 50 miles or better as a challenger. Also, the spot holder may be willing to meet half way or a closer distance, which is acceptable, but the spot holder is not required to. Use PM's or email to discuss the location, date and time, you never know if local PD's may sign up, only respond to PM's or email of people you know or that are already on the list.

8. All vehicles must be considered street legal (don't have to be, just considered). We don't give a shit if you have tags and/or insurance, that's your problem. All vehicles must have a DOT type tires. Can be trailered to a non track race because of distances, however, it must be driven at least 5 miles before the race and witnessed by the other racer. For a track race, no rules on trailers, anyone can tote their car in.

9. Have fun. Most importantly ALWAYS put safety first. Use common sense, don't hold your challenge on main street, in public areas, populated areas, etc.. We prefer you do it at the track.

10. Exceptions- If the race should be called off due to weather, family illness/death, or some situation that is beyond the control of either racer (vehicle failure does not count), the race will be rescheduled at a maximum of 2 weeks, at the same location if possible.  If the race can not be held, then a moderator will decide who gets the spot, based upon the facts.

11. You must live within SW New Mexico/ El Paso area.
